Mumbai: Engineering major Larsen & Toubro said it has bagged an order worth Rs 1,450 crore from the National Highways Authority of India (NHAI) for a road project in Tamil Nadu.
L&T Krishnagiri Walajahpet Tollway, a special purpose vehicle incorporated by L&T, has signed an agreement with the NHAI for widening of a stretch of Krishnagiri-Walajahpet Highway in Tamil Nadu, Larsen & Toubro said in a filing to the Bombay Stock Exchange.
The scope of the work includes six-laning of the Golden Quadrilateral on build, operate and transfer basis, the filing added.
The project is slated to be completed within 30 months.
Shares of L&T were trading at Rs 1,577 on BSE, up 0.35 per cent from previous close.
