Germany edged Argentina 1-0 to win their fourth World Cup title. Just as the final whistle went, the Maracana erupted. There were wild celebrations from the players and the fans. The German players were accompanied by their loved ones and after the match they quietly celebrated with family and friends at the ground. Here are some lovely pictures.
